Steven V.’s custom tiger tattoo by Sailor Jerry, was done 40 years ago in Chinatown of Honolulu Hawaii. Sailor Jerry is not only one of the most famous tattoo artists of all time, it’s also one of the most famous Hawaii Tattoo Artists of all time, and his shop was in the Chinatown area at that time. Steve was 15 at the time and this tattoo has stood the test of time, still looking good 4 decades later.
Flashback Fun Fact: For sale in Chinatown at the time was elephant weed joints laced with opium.
