Always Remember – Chris Danley

It’s been a week since the death of tattoo artist Chris Danley and as the Hawaii tattoo community comes together for the Pacific Ink & Art Expo, it’s hard not to miss one of our own who was taken to soon.

Here’s his photo from the Event website.

Though you’re not physically here, we know you’re out there Bro, and your absence is surely felt. On a personal note, Tattoo Adam just wanted to share another Aloha to the Brother and wish his family and loved ones well.

Take care Chris and ink some Souls in the afterlife!

Chris Danley, May You Keep On Inkin’ & Ridin’ in Peace

2014-07-28-21-57-26

On July 27, 2014, at close to 1am, a motorcycle accident occurred on the North Shore of Oahu, that took the life of Tattoo Artist Christopher Danley.  Chris was pronounced dead on the scene, so at the very least, his suffering did not last long.

“He was good lad and this is very sad.” Shared Tattoo Adam, Owner of 434 Tattoo.

Chris was Owner of a tattoo shop in the historic location where tattoo icon Sailor Jerry once worked out of, Old Ironside Tattoo.  With Chris watching from above, the show must go on with the Grand Opening of the shop taking place on July 31. The date of the event was set earlier and will continue in honor of the history there and to commemorate Chris.

For more info about the grand opening, visit the shop event page on Facebook here.

Though this loss will be felt by the Hawaii tattoo community here and Chris’ loved ones, at least his Soul has been set free.

Here’s to you, Bro!  Aloha!
