Getting a tattoo is for life, unless you get it removed, which involves a pretty painful laser process. So what do you do if you’ve changed, your life has changed, or you need a change when if comes to your pre-existing ink and you don’t want laser tattoo removal?
You can get a cover-up…
A cover-up tattoo involves getting a new piece over the piece that existed prior. It might take time, but you can transform the tattoo you no longer want to display into something beautiful, that you are proud to wear. In some cases, you might not be be able to cover it up completely but your artist can creatively find ways to help blend it and make it awesome.
If you are interested in where to get tattoo cover-up in Honolulu, look no further. The examples above are just the start of the journey and we have more examples of what we’ve done to cover-up or enhance tattoos that no longer serve the collector.
We’re open 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, appointments preferred, walk-ins always welcome!
It seems like we alternate between celebrating new, liberal tattoo loving policies with new, conservative, tattoo limiting policies in this day & age. Ah, well such is life.
The US Marine Corps has announced an update to its policy, which does allow tattoos, but limits the amount and placement of visible tattoos on a service member’s body.
Time will tell whether this new rule impacts recruiting but one wonders if the Navy will see its numbers grow more than the Marines in light of the fact that the Navy allows more ink to be on one’s body.
In the meantime, if you aren’t limited and/or want a concealed tattoo, we got you covered in ink either way. 434 Tattoo, our Waikiki Tattoo studio is open 7 days a week from 10a to 10p and we are dedicated to giving you an awesome tattoo and experience.
