Halloween Tattoos

Itʻs Halloween in Hawaii!!!  Our Ohana at this tattoo shop in Waikiki is open and here for all those ghouls adventurous enough to put their costume on for Life!

To stick with the theme, we just want to share some Halloween themed tattoos

Whatʻs Halloween without a Jackʻ0ʻLantern tattoo

or two?

That last one even has the popular grim reaper tattoo design folded in the mix!  The San Francisco Giants won the World Series this year, and to celebrate their favorite team and Halloween, this person got a Panda Sugar Skull:

Nothing is scarier in Horror Movies than demonic children, well clowns are pretty scary, but this child tattoo is creepy:

This tattoo is not only Halloween themed with a Witch, it is rocking not just any witch, but is a Wicked Witch Tattoo:

It just screams:  “Iʻll get you my pretties!”  doesnʻt it?  And last but not least, what is Halloween in this day and age without a Zombie tattoo?

Make sure you brush your teeth otherwise you could end up with a mouth full of teeth that looked like that.  Be safe, get wild, and have yourself a good ole bash this Halloween.  Good thing the Full Moon past, otherwise there might be some real Werewolves out, eh?

Honorable mention Halloween Tattoo goes to this stick on piece:

WTF Wednesday: Donald Trumpʻs Video to the President

We have our opinions about politics and government that donʻt much relate to Hawaii custom tattoos but this video released by Donald Trump addressing President Obama embodies both politics and the WTF Wednesday started recently here at our Waikiki Tattoo Parlor.

Enjoy! Shake your fist! Weʻre not going to say or promote Anarchy. Weʻll just pose the question: As ridiculous as it was in the first place, wasnʻt it enough that El President released the forms before?

And in other political tattoos…

This New Yorker Mitt Romney tattoo cover, was released recently in the vein of legendary artist Norman Rockwellʻs work, and alludes to the Republican nominee Romneyʻs shifting political views:

Would you call that a political or a tattoo cover-up?  Is this tattoo-gate?

We are 434 Tattoo, we are located in Honolulu, Hawaii at 434 Ena Rd and we are here to give you the best in Hawaii custom tattoo service!  Owner Tattoo Adam and artist Karl Juthans are here to help you get the best tattoo designs in Hawaii at our award-winning Waikiki Tattoo studio, open 7 days a week.  Where politicians claim to serve, we are really here to serve you!

Ask Your Custom Hawaii Tattoo Artist: Where to Eat in Honolulu?

With the invention of the Internet, Twitter, Yelp, etc. it is pretty easy to get a read on where to eat in Honolulu and whatnot.  Here are a few suggestions from some favorite spots around the Island of Oahu.

Chico’s: Chico’s is the perfect place to grab some Mexican food and a margarita after checking out the beautiful beaches and waves of Oahu’s legendary North Shore.

Pacific Soul: Located along Waialae Avenue, Soul has a cool vibe and great food.  Check out the Fried Chicken and Sweet Potato pancakes or the Vegetarian Chili.  Both are duh, winning!

Helena’s: Of Course you are going to have to grab some Hawaiian food.  Skip the luau in Waikiki and head to Kalihi for some Helena’s.  The Squid Luau is a must as well as their Pipikaula short ribs.  The food there is mean!

Cinnamon’s: Are you all about Egg’s Benedict? Cinnamon’s may have the best Egg’s Benedict in US, maybe the world…  Nah, joke, on the real, in my two cross-country trips from Hawaii all over the US, this Writer could not find a better Benedict.  I also suggest the Hot Chocolate since there are a million coffee places to grab coffee later.  IMO, Cinnamon’s Hot Chocolate is the perfect mix of the warm beverage and whipped cream.

You might also want to check out an okazuya style place like Gulick Deli, Mitsuken, or Fujiya’s.  The food is not the healthiest but it is super tasty and gives a sampling of the mixed plate culture.

And let’s not forget one of Custom Hawaii Tattoo Artist’s (Tattoo Adam) faves… Hank’s Haute Dogs!  Hank’s is an award-winning local restaurant here in Hawaii that as a different daily special, gourmet sausages, great sides, and has character!

There’s a sample of what to eat in Hawaii, if it gets to be too hard to decide, you can always come to the shop and walk next door to the delicious Italian food of Divino’s!  We hope you’ll get inked and eat at some of our favorite locales!

Tattoo the World Wednesday

First out we’d like to shout out to all of our friends and clients who walk into 434 Tattoo our Waikiki tattoo shop from around the World!

Mahalo (Thank You) as we say here in Hawaii!

From all the Australians in Hawaii to  those in Americans in the Armed Services to the Japanese tourists to everyone, and everyone else from Canada to Timbuktu to Argentina and more, all of you are awesome and we are happy to be here as a custom tattoo shop in Hawaii to serve you and all your tattoo needs, from the free consultation to putting on the ink, to sending you home with tattoo after-care.  Whatever your need, we got you covered (in ink)!

You are very welcome to bring the whole family in for a family tattoo session and more!  In fact it is very common for family members to get tattoos together, not just biological families, even work families, as this year we’ve been fortunate to have a crew working here at Pearl Harbor frequent the hallowed halls of our Waikiki tattoo studio.  Big shout out to Julio/Andre/Jordan/whatever it is that they’re calling you Buddy!

What can we say but that we’re family-oriented.  From Tattoo Adam and Arlita Siehr to their son, Andrew Siehr (the Future Tattoo Andrew), family is a value for us and Hawaii, where as you may have learned in Lilo and Stitch, Ohana means family and that means no one gets left behind!  We may even have done some Disney tattoos along the way too…

As we noted, your consultation is free, so please feel free to schedule a time to sit down and talk with us about your idea!  Walk-ins are also always welcome and we’ll do the best to accommodate any and all who come through our doors because we’re all family on this planet at least, and definitely when the aliens show up will we feel even more like family!

See you at 434 Ena Road.

Hawaii Tattoo Studio: This is Your Life

“Every time there was a convention, people would want a Tasmanian Devil Tattoo.  Golf event, Tasmanian Devil with a golf club.  Doctors, Tasmanian Devil with a stethoscope.  Computer conventions, they never came in…” ~ Tattoo Adam

Welcome the blog of our Hawaii tattoo Studio, 434 Tattoo!  Founded and owned by Tattoo Adam, our tattoo shop in Waikiki is in the Heart of Honolulu, very near to both the famous Waikiki Strip and Ala Moana Beach Park.  If you are looking for traditional tattoo designs, Polynesian tattoo styles, Asian ink, and more, we can develop anything in custom tattooing.

When considering a new tattoo, you want to be sure in what you are getting.  Recent studies have shown that many young people regret their early tattoos and tattoo removal surgery is both costly and may not work…

At our Waikiki tattoo shop, we offer you and anyone who comes through our doors a free consultation and free changes to artwork.  In fact, all artwork is free.  You only pay once you get tattooed!  If you want to put money down ahead of time, that is counted towards your overall charge as well where some places will require you pay for the consultation and then later charge you more.

An interesting fact, Tattoo Adam, has never changed his price on 1 inch lettering since he began.  It’s a very old school way of doing things and Tattoo Adam is certainly one to respect tattoo tradition.  On a side note, he is not a fan of doing arm bands or Tasmanian Devils (see above) so the price on arm bands may have gone up…

We are located at 434 Ena Rd. and feel free to stop by, take a look at our portfolios and ask any questions that you have.  Our talented Hawaii tattoo artists are here to help you in having an awesome tattoo experience!

Tattoo Tuesday Meets WTF Wednesday!!! Face Tattoos

Note: Tattoo Tuesday is bleeding into WTF Wednesday as this was began but unable to be finished yesterday… Enjoy!

This picture of the Dude above was too epic to pass up! It is of a gentlemen rocking a face tattoo well into this elder statesmen years!  Facial tattoos are nothing new, though not so widespread or accepted in the West, but a popular form of Polynesian tattoos particularly amongst the Maori people in New Zealand.

The tattoo pictured above is a design that was done last year by Hawaii Custom Tattoo Artist, Tattoo Adam, the owner of our Waikiki Tattoo Studio, 434 Tattoo. You can read more about this style of tattoo here.

And finally for your WTF Wednesday video, we present our Editor’s attempt at an inspirational video.  Find the comedy in it folks and note that a different book is coming out… He’s going to give us copies at our tattoo shop in Honolulu so you’ll be able to scoop that up some day too and have something to read while getting your next custom tattoo.

For any questions, more info, a funny story, to get your ink, hit us up at:
