We just wanted to post a follow-up to Pt. 1 of The Custom Tattoo Experience, where we went over a couple things that you can expect from us when you visit our tattoo shop in Honolulu, Hawaii.

We know how meaningful it is to customize your own tattoo and we like to assist with helping you tell the story behind your custom design in the best way possible.  Many people are interested in larger pieces and there a few things to consider when undertaking this process.

As a tattoo artist, we try to visualize how the whole piece flows and fits on your body, particularly for larges pieces like arm sleeve tattoos or full back tattoos.  For example a few questions to consider are :

If you bend your arm, how is that going to look?

Is what you want to going to fit in that place?

Sometimes, people come in with an existing tattoo and want to ink a sleeve around it or tattoo a cover-up.  We are happy to work with you in designing the best piece possible to work with what you already have and will make suggestions based on our professional opinion.
